Dates to remember...


The grass covers all, so the poet said, but even when the trees have grown back, memory persists. Buried pain still aches down deep.

Some dates, like September 11, August 6 and August 9, turn our minds back to horrific moments of mind-numbing destruction, death and suffering. The scars from such events persist for generations.

Healing comes in her own time, not with forgetting, but remembering.
