Only one...

Our basil will be due for a first cutting next week. I see sume summer pesto on the horizon, also another row of basil being planted. I can recall one year when we planted too much basil, but only one.

  1. Sharon, I don't know what happened to your comment, but keep me posted on the Malabar Spinach. Will Hooker at NC State highly recommends it, but I've never tried it.

    1. Sharon, I recovered your previous comment in my e-mail. Here's what you said: i just ordered 4 malabar spinach plants from Sow True Seed in Ashville. couldn't find any around here. wish now that i'd got some basil too. yours are right pretty!!

    2. yup, that's exactly what i said. i don't know how i got the idea you were growing Malabar Spinach, but when i looked it up i wanted some. sounds perfect for a GA summer. i was surprised to read in the Sow True catalog that it's not a true spinach, but it's true enough for me. will let you know how it goes.
